My great-grandfather's brother was named Eli Banton Davidson (born late-1840s). Eli was a son of Joseph Cornelius Davidson and Vitula Monroe Sandridge. There was also another man who was named Eli B. (his middle name is not known....but I can't help but wonder if it was "Banton") Sandridge who lived in Albemarle Co., VA. If you ever come across a "connection" between the Sandridge and Banton families in Albemarle or Buckingham Co., VA, I would appreciate it if you would let me know. Thanks!
