Carol, I have about 10 William Taylors in my file and about the same under James Taylor, could you give me a time line, or spouse?
My Taylors started out in Buckingham Co. and my Edward/Edmund Taylor was in Campbell Co. by 1800 where he died in 1824. His wife was Elizabeth Garrett (1765-1838) her folks being Magdalene Bernard and Stephen Garrett, French Hugenots. I don't know Edward/Edmunnd's parents but his children: Hezekiah, Chesley, Pleasant and David and daughters Spicey and Massey who married Pryors, Jane, Mary Polly and Elizabeth.
