I would appreciate any help on the parents and lineage of John G. Norvell (father of John Marion Norvell and my gggggrandfather). I have seen some references to a John Guerrant Norvell as a son of a William Norvell (Norvell Bible in UVA Special Collections references both names). But I do not have any definitive connection.
