I have some Howells in my tree but need more information. Armistead Bottome Howell 1798 in Buckingham Co. Va. married Frances Bailey. Armistead was the son of Pleasant Howell and Sallie Bottome. Also have a Gideon Howell 1756 married to Nancy Moss. Gideon was a brother or uncle of Armistead. Armistead was a miller and left Buckingham Va going to Cabell West Va. Some of the information I have shows Gideon Howell going to Jackson Co Tenn which is where many of the Bailey family settled.
