My mother was Geneva Ayres. Her father was James Ayres and her mother was Frances Bolton Ayres. They lived off Rt 56 just past Mt. Tabor Church. The place had a tanning yard on it that appenrently tanned leather during the War Against Northern Aggression.
I am looking for any information anyone may have on the Ayres and Bolton families and the tan yard. Also any history on Mt. Tabor Church would also be appreciated.
