Old newspaper accounts of Anna Carter-Ragan as one of the founders of Kansas City cite that Ann Carter-Lee (Robert E. Lee's mother) was her Aunt and therefore her namesake. I've not been able to make that connection, but would appreciate any information you might have that would help substantiate or denounce that family tie. Naturally, people love to find famous ancestors, but my aim is to establish the truth. Thank you,
