Allegedly, a Jefferson Davis (not the Jefferson Davis) fm Buckingham Co had 5 daus: Daisey b 1886, Lula b 1888, Beulah b 1891, Winnie b 1893, & Pet b 1895, and no sons. Two hours on ancestry.com finds nothing, except the marriage and kids of Lula; I'm researching for the gdau of Winnie, for which I also have the marriage and subsequent info. I cannot find the family in 1900, the crucial year to catch the kids at home with their par.
The gdau says the sisters lied a lot about things and were strong Confederates. Winnie married a Samuel Lee Robertson fm Cumberland Co, next door, in 1918. Lula m a Inman Curry, poss fm Augusta, Richmond, GA, in 1907.
