Seeking information concerning the BAILEY (baley) family in Buckingham Co. Va. Reuben Bailey left Va in l834 going to Jackson Co. Tenn. Other famileys moved in and around the same time were Joshua Moss & wife Martha Chastain, William Bybee Married Elizabeth Bailey (Reuben's daughter) and a Carlisle Family. Reuben was born in Va. possibly the son of William Baley but I can find nothing to verify this. He married twice in Va. but I do not have the names of wife 1 or 2 nor of his children from these marriages. He married a 3rd wife Rachel Crowder in Tennessee. The Baileys came to Va from New York. Thanks for any information.
