I am looking for John W.(R)Garrett who was born around 1804 in Virginia. He migrated to Georgia and married Centilla Ivy in 1825 in Pike County,Ga and settled in Meriwether County,Ga. He died in 1897 in Meriwether County,Ga. His oldest son was William B.Garrett and there may be a link to Buckingham County. If anyone has infomation about this family, I would be interested in hearing from them.
