I saw, where you had posted about Robert Cooke, We are searchiing for the same line,The other kin, that has ben helping me, she has that the missiing between Robert and William is a John, We have not been able to prove this as yet but, havent been able to get passed, Our James and Link him to Robert 1 or 2 We do know that our family, were from Surry Co Va, Surry Co Nc Isle of wight, Brunswick co , Va, . to let you know how we are linked to we believe Robert and Sarah Mary Coblar, Our family members are buried in the Coblar Cemetery. however Robert and Sarah Mary are not there, Hoping to prove the link, if you have any info please let us know, Our James we believe, his father was John, then it would be Robert who married Sarah, then Robert who married Winifred, then Another John, then William, 2 William 1, Phillip, Richard, This is kinda how we link, Our james was Born in 1759, he married Elizabeth Johnson,He owned Knowland Plantation and Mill in Surry co Westfield Township, Nc on Toms Creek. If you have any info pray that you will send. We are at this point trying to find Robert who married Sarah, Children and there son who should be James Father,.Thank you.
