I am trying to find information on William Chapman who married Martha Williamson in Brunswick co, March ll, 1783. I believe him to be the son of John Chapman born 1703 married Rebecca Cooke, There is a John married to a Rebecca listed in the Brunswick Wills 1739-1750. My next question would be is he the same John Chapman of Isle of Wright (I have seen his birth date at 1705)? The more I research the more confused I seem to get. Any help greatly appreciated.
