Posted by Carla Waldron I am a descendent of Rosa L. Taylor, the daughter of James and Louisa Taylor. Rosa married John Morgan Ivey Feb. 28, 1883 in Brunswick Co. Va. The marriage certificate states that Rosa was born in Mecklenburg Co. Va. so you might want to check there. Rosa died before 1900, we believe, of typhoid fever. She left three orphaned daughters as John her husband died of the typhoid fever as well about the same time. Rosa was born in 1863 so she was a younger sister to Charles Benjamin Taylor.
