I found the following record in VSL: 17 Mar 1736 345 acres land grant to JOHN BRODIE in fork of Waqua Cr -- other names mentioned are: BOSWELL, CRAWLEY, WEATHERBUENE (VA State Lib microfilm Land Office Patents No 17 1735-1738 p242 (reel 15).
In later records the JOHN BRODIE FAMILY is known in nearby Granville Co NC.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ADDED INFO ON John Brodie OF BRUNSWICK CO VA?
