Looking for any info that would lead me to the old Willie Hobbs plantation (Merry Oaks) and it's graveyard. It is somewhere near Hobbs Chapel (Hwy 603/Halifax Rd) and Hwy 611 near Ante, Virginia. The house is probably gone but if anyone knows of an old cemetery near a foundation in that area, PLEASE let me know! I have been told of a cemetery like this but I need specific directions as most of this land is off limits to anyone but hunt club members (it seems). Thanks!
