I need any information on James Samford (3/9/1801-11/7/1868) who married Catherine Newsum on 10/21/1824. They had one daughter Anne Q. E. Samford and she and the baby may have died in child birth. His father may have been James Samford whom married Patsy Johnson on 6/2/1798. The surity was a Joseph Samford. His siblings may have been Rpbert H. M. Samford and George Samford. They all moved to Wilson County Tennessee where James married Jane Martin on 4/14/1829. Any help would be appreciated. John Thomas
