I am looking for the family of my ancestor,Thomas Scott(1748-1821), and brother Andrew Scott(1744-1817) who is believed to have come from SE VA to then Dobbs Co. NC(now Wayne) ca 1770. It is believed the father's name is James Scott. Anyone know anything about the families of James or John Scott showing up in the early deed books ca 1750 for Brunswick Co. VA? Thanks for any help.
