A listing of Brunswick County marriages shows a Wesley H. Nash marrying Julia Laffoon in 1853. I think this might be my gggrandfather, Wesley A. Nash of Mecklenburg County. Wesley married again in 1857 at Mecklenburg County and his marriage certificate shows him as a widower. Does anyone know what might have happened to Julia Laffoon?
