This is what I have.
John Jackson born 1670's died 1740. Brunswick Co.
Married a Rebecca_____. She died 1765.
Had son, Thomas died 1751.
Thomas had:
Ann(This is the line I am interested in) She married a William Liles in 1739, Brunswick Co.
NAncy married Nathan JAckson, a nephew to Ralph.
Daniel, died 1760. Married a Bethiah_____.
Ralph, marr. Amy_____. He died 1794?
William, married Lucy Tatum
Peter died 1765
Thomas, Jr. marr. Sarah Harwell. He died 1804.
John marr. Elizabeth Lloyd. Don't know their children. He eventually went to SC.
The line I think you are from is Ralph, Thomas' son. Married Amy____.
Ralph and Amy had:
Raplh, Jr.
Nathaniel
Frederick
William.
I got this info from"The Jackson's of Lower Virginia". It is NOT my work. I am trying to tie into this group and using this info to do it.
My ancestor is Loe Jackson born 1771, Granville County, NC.
He was the bondsman for Ann Jackson and William Liles daughter, Sandal's marriage to John Green in 1829 in Granville Co.
I see repeat names all over the place but I do not have children for Loe. I don't have brothers and sisters for him either. It is my hope that I can link him to this group.
I KNOW there is a relationship. The area is right and the repeated names and the fact that they sold property to each other.
I have a hunch that Loe is the son of one of Thomas Jackson's chidlren listed above. Either that or one of his grandson's from John, Thomas, Jr., Peter, William, Ralph, Daniel.
Have you come across the name Loe JAckson in anything?? He married Frances Harris in 1792. He always lived in Beaverdam Dist of Granville Co. Or at least nearby. The lines changed some over the decades. At one time it was considered part of Wake Co.
Loe's son, Ransom is my ancestor.
Do you have a good researched line for Daniel JAckson, brother to Ralph?
I went to the Public Library today to find some info on Brunswick Co. Marriages. I got some info and will look it over tonight.
Anything you can do to help me find where Loe belongs in this group would be great.
