I have some info about 2 different Peter Jacksons. One was the son of Thomas Jackson that died in 1751. The next one was the son of Peter's brother William Jackson. One of them went to Granville Co., NC. I haven';t been able to figure out which one yet.
Does the help any? I have more info if this looks right to you.
