Searching for anyone who descends from Capt. Henry Briggs, b.c. 1730, d. 1782 Brunswick Co. VA. His wife was Elizabeth________b.c.1732 d. 1805); they had the following children:
William, Frederick, Ruth, Nancy, Sukey(aka Sussanah), Lucretia, Lucy, Elizabeth, Sally, Rebecca, and John.
I am certain that Capt. Henry Briggs was the son of William Briggs of Surry by his wife, Mary Cooke; my primary interest is in his wife, Elizabeth. I can't seem to find anything that even provides a clue as to who her parents were. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.
