I am looking for anyone who might know about a ROBERT DOUGLAS whose estate records shows up in 1742 in Brunswick County, VA which list his wife as Mary and two sons as Robert and Thomas. If anybody knows where he came from please let me know. I am trying to find his father and mother. I have some information that is not clear at this time that says he came from the Col. John Douglas of Charles County, Maryland that died in 1678.
