There was a George Ray and Silas Yarbrough who bought land in 1769. My ancestor was named George Ray and I believe this might have been my ancestor. Would anyone be able to help me with any other records that might mention a George Ray. I am trying to find who his parents were and who his wife was. I don't know if he was born in the Brunswick co Va area. He was living in Albemarle Parish in Surry,Sussex or Dinwiddie co Va in 1775 when his son Samuel Ray was born. He also had sons Solomon anbd Mark Ray and possibly other children. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks,Ross
