I am looking for the Treadwell family in Virginia. There is some thinking that the Treadwells traveled from Connecticut to North Carolina and stayed for a while in Virginia. I am just looking for them. I need to prove the parentage of Reuben Treadwell, born 1751 in Bertie Co. NC.
