Posted by Hobson Wright Brunswick Will Book 8, Page 119 In the name of God Amen, I William Harrison of the county of Brunswick in Parish of Meherrin do make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following. First, my will is that my beloved wife Elizabeth Harrison do have the use of my estate for her support during her life and at her death I give my estate as follows: Item, I give unto my two daughters Caty and Nancy my hole[sic] estate to be equally divided between. Lastly I do appoint John Tillman executor of this my last will maid[sic] by me hereto. As witness my hand and seal this 7th day of October one thousand eight hundred and fourteen. his signed and sealed in the Brunswick County Court November 28, 1814 examed teste Herbert Hill, CBC Daughter Caty married George Connell (sometimes seen as Conner) and for years I have looked for them in Brunswick County land records as they were were noted to border certain tracts of land. They were never to be found. Recently I found the estate was not listed as the Connell estate in tax records,as one expected; but as the William Harrison estate. I'm descended from their son Henry Conner. The William Harrison estate bordered that of Pleasant Harrison and James Harrison. One would expect they were related and possibly brothers. I would love to know about your interest William and Elizabeth Harrison.

I recently discovered that I am descended from William and Elizabeth Tillman Harrison who married in 1799. William left a will in 1814 as follows:
William X Harrison
mark
presents of
John Barner, Jr.
Thomas Barker
James Harrison
This last will and testament of William Harrison dec'd was proved by the oath of Thomas Barker a witness thereto and having been proved at last court by the oath of James Harrison also a witness thereto according to law and together with Thornton Jett and James Harrison his securies entered unto and acknowledged as the law directs, certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate thereof in due form.
