I am seeking information about Nathaniel and Elizabeth COLEMAN, who sold 1491 acres of land along the Nottoway River and Hickory Run in 1826 to Francis Fitzgerald Jones. The latter named the purchase "The Oaks." The property is located northeast of Rawlings. I am trying to ascertain if Nathaniel was a member of my Coleman line. I would appreciate any information about his birth, marriage, death, land holdings, migration, as well as any information about his wife Elizabeth. I am also interested in the history of this plot of land, to include "The Oaks"
