I am looking for antecedents and descendants of Edmund Shell, b. abt 1817, and his wives: 1. Rebecca and 2. Martha J. I have found him and several generations following him in the census from 1850 to 1930. They mostly had small farms in Brunswick Co, with occasional forays into North Carolina. Eventually, many moved to Roanoke Rapids, NC to work in the cotton mills opening there.
