My records show Mathew Seay was the son of James Seay and Lucy ? of Amelia Co, VA. I have some info on his siblings, and I believe his gr-grandfather was Anthony Seay of New Kent Co, VA. Anthony was of French origin - possibly Huguenot. If you want any more info, let me know.
