Among other chilren, they had a son named Shields and another named John Eaton who married Elizabeth Ford. This Shields 1, born in VA, moved to TN where he died. If we connect up, I would be happy to share info with you. I know that my lineage is correct, but I am looking for the primary proof I look forward to hearing from you, Frances Anderson

John Eaton, born in VA - died in TN, also moved to TN and had a son, Shields 2, who married Sarah Dewoody and eventually moved to AL. John E. could have had another son who named one of his children Shields of course, but I have no reason to believe that either of these two Shields ever moved to SC.
