Doc from the Davenport genealogy told me my Samuel, wife Martha Turrentine b-1764, who died in 1794 in Orange Co NC was the son of George of Amelia Co VA. Samuel owned land in Orange Co NC on Back Creek and was listed on the 1790 tax list in NC. Any info on George's family or of Samuel his son would be most appreciated. Pat
