I have bits and pieces of information about the location where Robert Stoker lived and died. He lived in Amelia Co, was a constable under sherrif Tally, ran an ordinary from his house, is mentioned in Court of Law books of Amelia Co, and on the VA transportation site it indicates there was a bridge across the Nottoway River called the Stoker Bridge. He lived in Amelia Co from approx. 1735 until his death in 1770. I am trying to locate where his home might have been and where he is buried. He was not one of the people that was moved to Old Butterwood Methodist Church when the fort was buil there. Any help with this would be appreciated.
