I am doing some research for a friend from Amelia
Co. Her father was Haywood Dickerson, b. 1889
Amelia Co. Her mother was Ferlinda ? (she is
trying to find her mother's maiden name). Fer-
linda's mother Betty was married to Charles
Robertson, almost certainly in Amelia, between
1920 and 1930; Charles Robertson was Ferlinda's
stepfather.
believes that her mother and maternal grandmother
came from outside Amelia, but the Dickersons seem
to have been there all along.
knows anything about this family or who might be
able to look up the Charles Robertson marriage in
the Amelia courthouse.
