Born about 1816, presumably in Amelia VA. Married Martha Barden in 1838. Served in Paineville Rifles, 14th VA Infantry; death unknow, but after discharge from CSA in 1862.
Possibly son of John Hurt or Anson Hurt. Any information greatly appreciated!
