I am searching for the parents of Coleman Thomas Murray. War of 1812 military records for a Coleman Murray show he enlisted in Buncombe County, N.C., and was born in Nottoway County, Va., about 1787. But Nottoway was not a county until 1789, so he probably was born in Amelia. I'm offering a reward for anyone who can prove his parentage. I've been searching for years without success and would appreciate any help.
