I am seeking to find out if any men from Amelia County were stationed at New London, Va during the American Revolution. New London was once the county seat for Bedford County but when the boundary lines were changed, it fell within Campbell County. There was an arsenal at New London that soldiers were detailed to guard. They were also made to guard the local Tory population. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! -Karen Glover
