My grandfather married Rebecca Catherine Jeter. His name was Benjamin Overton and I have been trying to find some of his history. I will be visiting Jetersville in October and hope to locate some intering things about him. The court records in this site show him or someone with that name as a Justice of the peace and a Deputy Sheriff.
Do either of you have anything more that we can put together?
