I am a descendant of Macon Hurt (ca. 1777-1812) and Nancy Gunn (Hutcheson. Macon Hurt died intestate in Lunenberg Co., VA ca. 1810. Some sites state that Macon was the son of Zaccheus Hurt of Amelia Co., Va, who was in turn son of Moses Hurt of Amerlia Co., VA. I have been unable to locate an estate for Zaccheus Hurt in Lunenberg & believe he may have died in Amelia or an adjacent county. Any info on this line would help.
