Australian and New Zealand,( not sure of other countries)has a product called"METHYLATED SPIRITS". this product IS 95/96% Ethanol. The remainder has 2 ingredients by law that stop the drunks from drinking it,, and give a different smell than water.Very easy to find in most shops,supermarkets and hardware places.
Quite a lot of people in Australia use this as a cleaner and or for thinning the inks down,
(Alcohol swabs contain 75% alcohol)
The cotton pipe cleaners used for cleaning the airbrush are available from most tobacco outlets. and is manufactured by the same company that supplies the bits and pieces for " roll your own " smokers
