I have been trying to get myself set up for airbrushing this summer break and I am hitting delays galore! Thanks to some idiots here in NZ who use IPA to make up some illegal substances, IPA will not be sold in quantities by anyone it seems. Pharmacies sell it in 50ml bottls for around $5. I used a bottle that size just cleaning up airbrushes and bottles which needed doing badly. aaarrgghhh - the actions of a few have now lead to a product which can be useful not being readily sold.
In addition the pipecleaners I use I cannot find readily available either. (In fairness I know I haven't found all the little shops here yet which may actually have them by the handful) but I have now ordered a supply through ebay.co.uk. Those wee furry cleaners will have one heck of a journey ahead of them for sure! Found plenty of the fluffy coloured craft ones but none of the genuine ones supplied by tobacconists.
Eventually found what I think is an online supplier of IPA in Aukland, who are not open from the Christmas break until 12th January. I just feel I am not meant to be up and running this holiday somehow... 
I really have fingers crossed they will send it to me on the south island.
There was some light at the end of the tunnel though. Mueller adhesive spray is sold here. A heck of a lot more expensive but I am glad I could get it.
I know I can rely on the ABA crew though to get my inks out in good time. Whats the odds the ink arrives days before anything else does.
Rant over but wanted to get it off my chest. Amazing how little things can really be frustrating when you have previously taken them for granted
