I use CO2 exclusively. It's quiet, you don't have to worry about moisture in your paint, and you don't have to worry about electricity and running hundreds of feet of extension cord (well, not unless I need lights, of course.) One big tank (I get them from the bar next door to my office--price $18 US) will last for several weekend shows. Keep your tank OUT OF DIRECT SUNLIGHT, and I wrap an insulated blanket around mine to help with that freezing-up problem that sometimes happens on very hot days.
