Hi Tony,

i can't comment on the single action as I don't use them but have always used the double action brushes. I find them really easy to control and you don't have the worry of paint splattering out in one blob if it happens to be clogged cause the air will come out when you push down and the paint won't come out till you pull the lever back. Anyway, that's why I like them! I guess it is just personal preference though - you could always just give one a go
