First; You need to put together a website. It can be one page, but create somthing that will be your instant brochure for people trying to see your work.
Second: Create a color brochure/resume for agents. Be sure to include applicable mileage/parking charges. Many times they have you in a city where parking is a premium.
Example: If you charge $150 per hour for TATs, charge the agent $125. The reason agents love this is because if their client tried to price the same event with you, the client would be quoted the same amount. So there's no savings by NOT using an agent, therefore you're not undercutting them and actually saving their client money. Agents love this. The agent will probably book 4-5 events a year, while an individual may never book you again. ALWAYS take care of your agents. Many talk to each other and if you're good, word gets out. Hand out your card to other entertainers.
