Swarovski crystals

Could someone please tell me if the crystals that are used on temp tattoos come on a sheet of paper that you are able just to peel off & stick on the body or do they come loose & you need to add an adhesive to the crystal before applying to the body? If the latter what adhesive should you use? My local salon suggested to use eyelash adhesive. Would this be ok or is there something better
