I have seen a tattoo setup using just gravity feed, dont know how it was working for the guy though. Usually you can have thick solutions in a gravity feed, also smaller amounts. Have seen a lot of cap airbrushes using gravity feeds here in Australia as they can do very small amounts of ink in the airbrush.
