I used to have the letter and numbers and now I do not offer them. In my humble opinion, they really are NOT worth the time and effort to apply them. They are time consuming and sometimes really long. Charging by the letter or number can work, but my experience is that if you have a long line of people waiting to get tattoos and your line is not moving because of that one person getting "I Love My Girlfriend because she..." you are going to see people walking away. That was my experience. The legal side of it is something I spoke to my attorney about and he suggested that if I put letters and numbers on people that are Gang Related (how would I know the difference) and something violent happened because of that tattoo, there is a STRONG possibility I could be libel. I don't think those five dollar bills dropping in my lap will even my legal fees if I got sued. But again, I just offer another point of view.
