lol the real fourth poem.. about anxiety.. we did the scarlet letter and we talked about the 'puritan dilemma' of a search for god and the answers to all these questions that they thought they could find by interpreting the scripture..
about the coming of the dawn
nervous
concerning what shall happen
know that they might not be
but thinking they are out there
for finding by someone like thee
people can create
their own answers
in a sort of way
ways about them
methods to find such answers
answers they think might be
when you think
that what there might be actually is
you are so sure of it
as to think
that no one else
can be right
and your doctrines
must be correct
and all else wrong
infinite creature
are you some god or deity
is that what you think
sitting somewhere out there
among the stars or beneath the earth
inside ourselves or just one of us
how do we unlock these secrets
how can we read them
how do we know
maybe its just true, just out there
and we are not to find it
but we are to guess it and to do our best intention
