Posted by Hoofin Dan I'm one of a group of Wrexham FC fans who are doing a fanzine called The Dismal Jimmy. Like a lot of clubs we're in a bit of a financial blackhole at the moment and we've got a chairman who seems more interested in making our ground into a supermarket than anything involving a foot and a ball. Anyways, the reason I'm bothering you is that this same chairman, Mark Guterman, has brought in a friend of his called John Reames to help "sort out" our club. Already Mr Reames has started sacking staff. Alarm bells have started ringing about who the hell he is and what authority he has to deal with out problems. I know he came to Trinity for a short spell and then seemed to dissappear. What was the background to this? Does anyone have info about him? Seems he left Lincoln in a bit of a financil state after sacking the manager and donning the sheepskin jacket himself. After he left Lincoln went into admin. Although he did he enable a supporter's trust to take control of the club. We're just trying to find out more about him. If anyone can fill in any of the blanks I'd much appreciate it. Forza, Dan
