I guess Old timers disease is hitting me. I completely forgot our run at Skate Town. Had some really good shows there. By that time Tommy Heggie was my booker. He didn't care if he was on top. Whatever was best for the show. Hot Rod Biggs started with us there. Good hand. I think that is where Puppy Love started. I don't think he was ever formally trained but he could brawl. One night I was working Roy Shelton and I told him to powder and hit my son Scott who was the bell ringer. Scott sold it well and someone went to the box office and told Wahoo Roy had hit her son, She left the box office leaving money and tickets just laying there. She went after Roy. Our son Brian wrapped his arms around her to hold her back and she stomped his foot, not knowing who had her. She went after Roy again. The crowd knew she was mad and was buying it. Tommy Hwggie was standing by me and he was saying sell it Wahoo, sell it. Finally, Roy tells her Terry told me to do it. I made myself scarce, but got an earful in the car going home. She said don't you EVER get Scott involved again. Didn't have the guts to tell he would be involved the next Tuesday.
