Good listen. I found it interesting how he was a teetotaler, like his father, for so long & how it all changed. That locker room when he came up in the WWE couldn't have been an easy one for him on several different levels. I also found it interesting or maybe ironic is the better word what Scott Garland(Scotty 2 Hotty)tweeted after Brian's death this week on how they didn't hang out or travel together when they were a team. Not that's a uncommon thing but Garland is a trainer at the Performance center these days & that may have been a carrot that Jerry Lawler was dangling if Brian could get clean. As this week went on this tragedy bothered me more & more & I've been thinking about is how tragedies like this are still happening today. I wonder as we get further & further from the territory days will things like this diminish though this seems like his issues escalated in WWE in the '90's & on the independent scene afterward. Or is this more of a product of today's society as suicide rates have risen in more than half the states by more than 30% the last two decades. In the end, Brian Lawler mattered & hate that he felt so hopeless. I'm not going to preach anymore but will leave this here. Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-8255
