Re: Episode #22 Quinton Quarisma "Power Slamming
The building Quinton talked about on Dickerson Road was an old Woolco store. I'll expound on some of the points discussed in the podcast. First, I want to thank Quinton for not trashing me. He did mention I had trouble keeping buildings. We were at the Dickerson Road location for about ten weeks before the power was cut. Luckily there were other stores in the "mall" so the parking lot lights were on and the area where we set up was fenced so we could control the crowd. It was summer and yet our crowds grew each week, even during the state fair run. Next was the Woodbine Community Center which we ran over a year before a metro lawyer saw our commercials and told the center director we had to stop since it was against the rules for a profit making nosiness to use it. Next was Bass School where we had pretty good success. That is where Reno Riggins stole the folding chairs Pricetown had given me. That is after my partner Dale Storm and Reno undermined me. After that I was never able to keep a building and my cancellation career began. I'll discuss other Power Slam happenings at a later date. Terry
