Don't know if you would be interested but a really cool Facebook page I just joined was Louisiana Pro Wrestling Memories. It is all about Bill Watts Promotion first Mid South from 1980 until it sold in 1987 to Jim Crockett and was called Universal Wrestling Federation. I have been in the Nashville area for over 23 years but grew up in Mid South.
Interesting stories and I have located some of the notes from a number of live house shows I attended between 82 and 87 in Little Rock. The territory was so large most cities in the loop only got a house show each 2 to 3 weeks. Sometimes in Little Rock we had 2 cards per month but always one. The territory expanded from Jackson Mississippi South to Biloxi, covered all of Louisiana, north to all of Southern and central Arkansas, all of Oklahoma and then south to cover Houston and Beaumont Texas.
To me Mid South was an incredible place for wrestling in it's day, but a lot of factors led to Bill Watts getting out of the promotion. Anyway if you want to check it out the page is really cool!
